The delegation of Escoffier disciples in French Polynesia held its traditional "Epicure" dinner at Tahiti's Intercontinental Hotel. The latter enchanted epicureans and food enthusiasts alike, and celebrated the culinary art in all its splendor, with talented chefs, sommeliers and maîtres d'hôtel, all inspired by the values of Escoffier. This year's menu paid tribute to Christian Fréchède, the delegation's late founder, and saw the induction of 4 new disciples.
The brainchild of food truck operator Vaimiti and firifiri producer Laetitia, Taharu'u's Garden has been the talk of the town in recent weeks. Vaimiti is in charge of all communications to promote everyone's products, while Laetitia coordinates the stands.
